OMG! Someone posted a link to a newssite and you don't agree with it! He should be tortured to death for insulting your god!

Edit: P.S. It's 'flamebait'.

Flaimbait??? How's that?? It is a link to a poll of the American public listing substantial differences between the American public and the Bush administrations policies in many areas while also demonstrating once again the presidents war on terrorism driven personal popularity. How is that flaimbait?

Where did I say what I though about the article? I can envision is now - this thread will turn into a bush flamefest - then the bush supportes will rush in and extinguish the fire 😉

Shrug, there are always people who do not agree with opinions posted here, which would mean almost every post is flamebait.

I know. I'm on auto-asshole-mode tonight. I guess exams are getting to me. DAMN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!! :|

kind of interesting that on individual questions like that, people think he's out of touch, and yet on the whole they still support him. that tells you that the fear of the things we think he protects us from runs deep. it's the 1984 gameplan. create an enemy and then "protect" your people from it.

It HAD to happen sooner or later. With the highest sustained approval rating of any president in modern history, the ONLY place you can go from there is down.

Actually Bush's approval has always centered around personal popularity and the war on terrorism. He has never held any sort of wide support in polls for most of his domestic policies with the exception of Education.

Oh? You mean the reason they are getting different results is because they are asking different questions?

It is a proven fact that the wording and sequence of questions are THE determining factor that influence how a poll will be answered.

"Many Americans?" Demographics please?

Looks like the Democrat propaganda machine is working overtime.

Eight years of Slick Willie and a lifetime of voting against Liberals will do that to a Conservative...😉

During Clinton's term we were treated to polls as headline news nearly every day. Clinton governed by the polls. Polls were put forward as THE way to take the temp of the US citizen. When you dig deep, you fast learn that polls usually have an objective and it's the job of the pollster to arrange the specific outcome. I take little stock in them myself, but there is no doubt they are used to sway public opinion and therefore for political influence.

I am mostly paranoid of losing any more freedoms...a good thing.😎

Not at all. Like most people Tom would like to believe that most share his opinion. Actually Bush is doing a remarkable with regards to his popularity among the American public when you take into consideration that the majority of those who voted in the last presidential election voted against him.
