On the contrary, he just recently come out in support of increased drilling and exploration here in the USA. (offshore & ANWAR).

Then, he refused over the objections of some Dem Senators to forbid the US oil companies from accepting the recent "no bid" contracts so that Iraq can increase production in older fields.

(Note: those contracts have not yet been signed, and may not be. The Iraqi's themselves have already met the goal of increasing production by 500 million barrels, which was the point of the no-bid service contracts. The Iraqi Oil Minister basically told the Dem Senators to STFU, this was Iraq's decision, not theirs).

Basically this idiot is a broken record.

All he thinks about is wars - and more spending on them... Meanwhile america suffers.

Can't we talk about something different? Off Shore Drilling is gonna take years to see any results. Congress already voted for drilling in ANWAR so that's not an issue.

We need to start talking about this as the nation is in trouble. We can't afford to keep sending troops everywhere. It's not going to solve our problems.
