Yeah, because according to Bush it's a "priveledge" to live in a free democracy, unlike those damn Founding Fathers who thought it was a God-given natural right. We maintain our freedoms here by aggresively defending them from threat at home and abroad. Even the littlest infringements on freedom and liberty should be constantly challenged and an acceptable balance arrived at. But maybe you think we should just give up and let the dear leaders do what's best for us plebians.
