he knows he's going to be a lame duck 2006 - 2008 when the dems take over part (if not all) of congress.

so his hail mary pass.. threaten North Korea with empty threats like 'stop nukes or else.' it's a win-win for him. if north korea blinks and stop, bush gets all the credit about being tough. if they call his bluff (like they just did), it doesnt matter.

S Korea, Japan, China, Russia... all are direct neighbors of this psyhco farm. Why can't they deal with the little freak? Why do we have to solve everything?

As Red Dawn said, I'm sure the democrats are up to the task of failing badly just as the republicans have. That said, to their credit, at least they didn't create the mess. Too few of them stood up against the crap that the repubs have been pulling though.

I am hopeful that the dems will win and get their **** together for the good of the country. However, I do not believe that they will.

We need to send a message guys. That message isn't to vote in the dems so that the repubs know that we are not with them.

That message is to get at least ONE third party person into an important seat somewhere. Just one. One is all that is needed to make the dems/repubs panic a little.

If you want to send a message that you aren't happy with where things are now, vote third party.

Libertarian, green party, friggin SOCIALIST party even, it honestly doesn't matter who they are or even if you friggin agree with them.

Have you heard of the "Nuclear Umbrella"?

The U.S. has assured non-nuclear allies that we would defend them from nuclear armed enemies.

The logic of this policy is that by assuring our allies our protection, they would not develop nukes of their own.

It is designed to prevent Nuclear Proliferation.

Seriously though, I really hope the dems take over congress, and, at the very least, bitch-slap GWB whenever he brings up something retarded. Preferable to that would be the impeachment of both GWB and DC, but that is probably not realistic.
