You are confusing Bush with the Fruit Fly, Ebola, SARS, Mad Cow Disease and Playboy magazine.. Acid rain and Thermal Warming are the actual issues that create the surface magma that heats the water that boils the fish that make the stink that require the deodorant spray that destroys the ozone.. Not Bush.

The world was already destroyed, Bush is just kicking around the broken remnants.

Hehe, jj, care to express that feeling in greater depth.

No depth really, perhaps just a contrast of ideals. I don't believe the world has been destroyed, or is being destroyed and the end is near. But if it is being destroyed, then it's my contention that it already has been destroyed. I guess the real question then would be how to fix it, which goes way beyond the paltry influence an individual politician regardless of which way he may kick the broken pieces. The pieces have been kicked around for millenia with no discernable difference.

Give the guy a chance. Sooner or later he's going to believe that he has to drop some noo-ker-ler bombs on some country. Then I believe you will see the (more) rapid destruction of this world. The really bad thing is that Bush will think he has been commanded by GOD to drop the bombs.

It's just the little leftish sheeple reading a page out of the DNC handbook. They don't have a viable candidate for 2004 so they are getting desperate already as seen by some of the posters in this thread.

LOL, yeah that's my thought too. History, and genes, repeat themselves.

So if someone thinks Bush is a moron doing more harm than good, that must mean they are a Democrat grasping at any straw they can to discredit The Great Leader?

If you think that, then I have this bridge I might be able to interest you in
:D

Opinions about Bush totally transcend party politics. While die hard Republicans wont come out and say it, I bet a vast majority of the rank and file are feeling pretty crappy about all the blatant lies coming from the White House. A small subset of Republicans genuinely believe that Dubya walks on water, but I hope to god that it's a small percentage.

It's not the Diehard Republicans that are doing the criticizing, it's those who are moderater to slightly conservative from both parties that voted for Bush last election who are feeling let down by the Bush Administration. No that doesn't translate into votes for the Dem Nominee if he is a Wishy Washy SOB like all the Democratic Contenders seem to be. What it might translate into is the lowest voter turnout in the History of our Presidential Elections.

Even if Bush could walk on water, the left could complain that Bush could not swim.

I think they would complain that he was polluting the water!

I love Bush apologists.

Unable to formulate rational and reasonable arguements to counter anti-Bush sentiments, they spout platitudes to try to justify their slightly insane leader :)

I think that you're seriously misunderestimating (bushism intended) the fed-up-with-this-sh!t attitude that is slowly seeping through the country. It stems both from this current Administration and the previous one, and probably the one before that too. People will most likely react in 2004 because the country's economy is in the crapper, and it hasn't been this bad for this long in a while. Maybe I'm being a bit too idealistic, but maybe you're a bit too pessimistic about the American electorate.

I wasnt referring to you *cuogh*charrison*cough* :D

I actually agree with you. The left (IF you want to characterize the Dems as 'left') is just as corrupt and owned by big business as the 'right' is.

===================
This is, of course, obviously false as we just saw that the vote follows the money and the Republicans are financed far more by big business than the left. The point is not that the parties are identical but that they are both too beholden to business because it gives to both even if unequally. Money is what determines what you think because it determines what you think about and what you see and hear. We are all a part of the corporate hive, the Capitalistic Borg USA.

Most of the biggest SIG's are often sponsored and supported by industry.

Dont get me wrong, I am not some crazed anti-capitalist. I just think that the hyper capitalist world we currently live in is insane at times.
