Bush+House Question

whats it called ........

When you have a bush near the house and the roots/branches (or whatever you call it) extends and starts growing onto the house. What do you call that? Were getting rid of them this week because we dont want bugs in the house. Just want to do some searches to see what other people did. I tried searches, but cant find anything on it.

If we dont do anything about it soon the whole house will be covered by leaves and that looks bad. So, this week its all coming down. Where going to track the root things back to the ground and than put some stuff down so it stops growing.

Doesnt seem like it. Wish i could take a picture. Just think of a brick house with plants and bushes on the side of it. One of the bushes has grown where it attaches to the bricks of the house and keeps growing.
