Is this supposed to be referring to the new Newsweek poll??

Give me a break...there's no way that poll is accurate.

What's the party affiliation breakdown?

I would like to know as well. I'm hoping it's heavily conservative because this is slightly depressing news to me.

We're still looking at nationwide popular vote polls? We're down to about 5 states that are going to matter. I'm not saying this poll is necessarily invalid, but if that extra few points is coming from soft Kerry supporters in the Bible belt switching over to Bush, then it would be meaningless. Florida, Ohio....show me new polls there.

If Kerry produced a video of Bush saying the notorious "I don't know where OBL is" statement with clips of the new OBL video, Bush will get pWNTzOrZ

From a Newsweek poll. This poll is an obvious outlier. Something is wrong with it.

Besides, national poll doesn't matter. The swing states do and Kerry is leading in most according to Zogby.

I couldn't find the party affiliation but I found the last 3 results they had....

Bush/Kerry/Nader/Undecided

Among likely voters:
10/27-29/04 50 44 1 5
10/21-22/04 48 46 1 5
10/14-15/04 50 44 1 5

Edit: That's weird... my link to the Yahoo story has been relinked to another...

The DNC did. It was actually out before the debate, I believe.

From a Newsweek poll. This poll is an obvious outlier. Something is wrong with it.

Besides, national poll doesn't matter. The swing states do and Kerry is leading in most according to Zogby.

Latest Zogby polls for the 10 battleground states:

B=Bush, K=Kerry, O=Other/3rd party, U=Undecided (I can't believe there are still undecideds!)

Wisconsin Oct. 30
44% B
52% K
2% O
2% U

Pennsylvania Oct. 30
46% B
49% K
3% O
3% U

Ohio Oct. 30
49% B
44% K
4% O
4% U

Nevada Oct. 30
50% B
46% K
1.2% O
3% U

Colorado Oct. 30
50% B
45% K
4% O
1.7% U

Florida Oct. 30
47% B
49% K
2% O
2% U

Iowa Oct. 30
46% B
47% K
3% O
4% U

Michigan Oct. 30
47% B
48% K
1.9% O
2% U

Minnesota Oct. 30
46% B
49% K
3% O
3% U

I personally don't give a crap about NM or NV going Bush cuz they aren't worth much EV wise... all I care about are the big chunky EV states... and Kerry leads in most of em' !

Close polls are worthless. All they say is that the polls are close. Self referencing nonsense.
