Despite the record low approval rating and the will of the people, he's still trying to shove his IRAQ agenda threw.

it's because voters are stupid. they only have a 6 month memory. and the 2008 elections isnt till 18 months away.

i bet in march 2008, he'll be bending over backwards listening to the polls.

You're right. He doesn't seem to care what people think of him, nor what many of his advisers and generals tell him.

Say what you will about Bush, he is absolutely convinced he was right about Iraq. And he doesn't seem to care how many people die to prove it.
He has the classic traits of recovering alcoholics and regligious zealots An absolute belief that he knows whats best and his view of realitiy is not dependent on the facts.
