Bush Approval Ratings

They said on one of the news channels this morning (MSNBC I think) that Bush will have to do a good job of tying the Iraq war with the War on Terror in order to have his best shot at reversing the trend. Something about the War on Terror being what the American people approve of most when asked about Bush's presidency.

But by the time that idiot is out he will have done more damage to the US than any President in history. The only silver lining is that he was never elected. He was selected by the Supreme Coup.

Hell when his approval rating were high most of that was just a residual effect of the Patriotic Fervor after 9/11 and more for the office than the actual man. Of course had it been Al Gore instead the same thing could have been said as I am sure his ratings would have skyrocketed after 9/11 too.

A hamster's ratings would have skyrocketed too. That does not recommend one as president much.

true that! bush is a disgrace to the good name and nature of the citizens of the United States of America.

history will not be kind. he went from being but a footnote of the supreme court to the biggest disaster--a walking weapon of mass destruction.

You have prima facia evidence of your statement, Winston, as evidenced by HamsterBush. The running about in his little wheel thingi has endeared him to the hearts of many including the Gerbil society of Pakistan.

I think I like it better when you spout the other kind of gibberish. This is like hearing someone hum the theme to gilligan's island over and over and over and over again.

Edit: Now that I think of it, the chatty cathy doll analogy from "Planes Trains and Automobiles" sounds better. Imagining Steve Martin pull at his chest imitating chatty cathy saying the same thing over and again is much more pleasing than the theme song to gilligan's island.

I felt it incumbent on me, occasionally, to say something you could and can understand.

That's right...I keep forgetting. I'm stupid because I have the wrong opinion. Thank's for clarifying.

Fox News: 49%?! That's a majority! 😉

Sigh, well I suppose there's still 49% who get their news from the late night talk shows...

I don't know. Are you? I figured you called my other stuff gibberish not as a matter of opinion, but as a result of a lock of comprehension and just objected to by Bush post because it was easy to understand. But whatever the case, I wanted at least the chance to respond at the same level as you. Do you mind?

Actually, I'm the unsuspecting right? So of course I called "the other stuff" (i.e. when you are not making political statements) gibberish. It's in your signature after all.

I don't know. Are you?
You've stated in numerous posts that those who do not have a liberal/democratic opinion are of inferior intellect. Shall I reference them for you?

Considering Bush is a just a hair away from having a majority approve of his job performance . . . could one of the Bush supporters explain what he's done well?

I wouldn't want to create a burdon for you. It sounds like work to me. I can save you the trouble though by telling you your statement isn't true. It's probably just that you feel bad about yourself and feel that's what I said. I get that alot. It sort of sticks to me like glue. It happens with mirrors. Of what use, for example, is intellect?

Yep mirror mirror on the wall....

Now again - if a person wishes to discuss the 2000 election situation in Florida, I'd be more than willing to join them in that debate. Taking potshots at Bush about the election from behind "mirrors" doesn't show intellect or "wisdom", it is an immituare tactic often employed by persons who know their argument is weak and seek to justify their own sense of weakness by demonizing/dismissing the figurehead. Someday I hope that maturity will set in and a real debate on this subject could take place instead of "diverting" other threads away from their original topic.
I'll be waiting for that new thread.....

Now Erog....

I think if CADinegger wishes to open a thread on the 2000 election we can let him show how less is more.
