Gore was slammed by the right during the last election when he stretched the truth. And that made headlines all over the place. The right would not let that go. Now bush does it even to a greater of a degree and you are just shrugging it off.

I can see Gore's point he was trying to sell himself and tell people what he would do for the country. But Bush really has no motive to say such a thing. The only thing i can think of is he wants to make it look like he was risking his life for the boys in iraq.

I never did approve of gore doing what he did. I think he could have listed several other things that did not need bending of the truth that had the impact that he was looking for.

The right really needs to take off the blinders once in awhile and see the deception that this administration is doing.

You're right, Bush had no motive. If you were actually intelligent enough and read the article you posted, you would see that Bush himself was not the pilot of the plane and did not communicate with the alleged BA pilot, nor did he himself tell the reporters, but his administration did. This may be hard for you to comprehend, which it obviously is, but employees and staffs of companys sometimes act own their own without getting approval from their boss. Clearly this was one of those and nobody really cares. CNN is so desperate for news following their Monica Lewinsky story that they had to run this. Maybe you should only post news from legitimate sources in the future.

How about this site?

Hmm lead story is about a murder trial . . . that hasn't started yet.

Top headlines . . . real beatdown and an alleged abduction . . . definitely a good news source.

Boy, the Bush-haters must be absolutely seething. Look at the kind of crap they have to go dig up to try to de-rail Bush. Economy is up, tax-cuts worked, and Bush has (stupidly) given in to their demands for prescription drugs, protectionism, and the like.

Bush has screwed up, a LOT. But given all the dumb spending bills he's supported, I still have to support the man because of the great job he's done on defense, which is the main (and should be the only) reason the government should act.

Are you speaking of the Current President? Of the United States..

That's a pretty confident statement regarding the 'clearly'. Do you have special powers?

Regarding the 'nobody cares' comment, are you sure?
