MSNBC

Planes/ships have been going into persian gulf for a couple hours now (at least on the news) and somehow I think his address to Congress he is about to make isn't on gun safety in schools...

They also said that they will give information about the countries involved in aiding the terrorists.

Yea, I would expect the same...

It is a joint session of Congress, we normally only get those during "State of the Union" speaches...

I don't believe anyone "wants war".

I believe he is doing what has to be done to excise a cancer that is growing on this world.

War is the wrong word. Eradication is what we and the media should be using.

Yes, multiple countries. At the VERY least Pakistan and Afghanistan have been known to help bin Laden. There are also other countries with a history of helping terrorist groups (though I'm not sure how active they've been lately). *shrug* Guess we'll all find out soon enough. The only thing I'm worried about is this being a catalyst to a larger war. If we ended up in a war with the Middle East who's side do you think China would be on?

Anyway, we'll see.

Yes "war" was declared on the 11th, but with no real target. I think a target and a basic plan of attack will be mentioned so we know whats happening.

It scares me but also reassures me that there is now talk that multiple countries aided these terrorists. Scares me because how the hell are so many as*holes in power. Reassures me that government assistances is seemingly required for such attacks and taking out a gov't could potentially be easier than taking out vague and hidden terrorist networks...it could potentially be harder as well but I like knowing where the target is, and so will the B2's launching later tonight :)

The question is who is he gonna declare war against?

Last I heard, there was no proof bin Laden did any of this.

Marty,

Once again, it does not matter if there is no proof yet linking bin Laden to the atrocities on the 11th. There is evidance linking him to embassy bombings and the bombing of the USS Cole.

He's a terrorist, he's a terrorist with money. No more terrorists.

Speaking of the "How are they in power" Maybe this time we will know to not leave that kinda crap in there, when Germany surrendered Berlin was cut away from that kinda crap and is now a much better country. we should have done the same to Saddam, who had something to do with the WTC also.

If not this (WTC) there was the Cole and the previous bombing of the WTC that WAS him... no matter how much debate goes into it he has already performed acts of terrorism and needs to be stopped no matter what, it was harder to get the support to do it before, now with this last act there is more support from our own side... if you don't have support from your people in a democracy you don't do well in war (Vietnam) But if you have support from a tradgedy (Pear Harbor = US WHALING AZZ ON AXIS and JAPAN)
