Bus Master? IRQ? Help!

I have the VIA busmaster drivers installed and from what I've gathered on some threads I've been reading on here, they can be troublesome. When I try to uninstall them, though, they just keep reinstalling themselves when I restart...how do I totally remove them? I'm not even sure if that's casuing my problem though...please check this thread to see a more detailed description of my problem and what I've done so far...
