Bus Beating, Girls Viciously beat another girl

This CNN video has more information... including the fact that there was no immediate provocation. Not that it would be justification. Just to show Classy is not just wrong, but flat wrong... again.

LOL the old classy is a racist again. Why because the girl who got beat up was white? hehehehehehe You guys trip me out, seriously. Here is the truth no one knows what caused this, that is a fact. Two, obviously whatever happened it caused two girls to attack this girl on a bus full of people. Here is my suspicion, if the girl who got attacked was hispanic, and the attackers were white if would not even had made the news. You know it and I know it. Once again the same ole if they are white, they are right syndrome rears its ugly head on AT again. Correct me if I am wrong. Kids get jumped and beat up everyday single day in schools all across the enitre planet. But because some poor lil "innocent" white girl gets tuned up by a couple of minorities, its national news, Give me a break. Just like when a white girl goes missing her face is plastered all over the news, if a black one goes missing it might make the local newspaper.

Classy, Google "school bus beating." There are LOTS of stories and videos of school bus beatings involving all races, and single race incidents.

Again, you're wrong.

The reason these are making national news is there are cameras on many school busses now. Not because of race.

On the GMA News report they said the two girls who committed the assualt said they did so because the girl made a racial remark that upset them. So that is why they are saying the beating was racially motivated.

doesn't really matter what motivated it, this is the kind of thing that can get people shot. what it is to stop her from bringing a gun onto that bus and shooting those girls and anyone else she feels is responsible?

Kids don't break up fights. I never saw one kid in school try to break up a fight. They treat it as a spectator sport.

Juvenile assaults among girls is a lot more common today.

why show THIS story? it happens all the time. just like teachers molesting students... why only show the stories where the teacher's a hot blonde? whenever little girls are abducted, they only make it public when it's a cute kid.

You're right that this isn't really news... but half the crap they show on the news isn't news. They just go for the sensationalistic crap. This is on the news for a few reasons.

2. The attack appears to be completely unprovoked, even if it wasn't.
3. The attackers ganged up on the girl.
4. Race may have had something to do with it.
5. The girl's parents probably took it to the media. Otherwise it would have never made the news.

How do you know there is no justification? If she taunted them with her mouth, then the butt whooping was justified. You know I have said this before and will continue to stress, you do not have the right to say whatever you want without penalty, keep your comments to yourself. I don't know what happened, but I doubt those girls attacked her because she was white. Looking at that video, that bus appeared to be predominantly white. So I find it hard to believe two hispanic girls would attack her because of race in that situation, if they got her in the bathroom I might buy it.

they showed it because of the 4 school shooting in the past two weeks. so anything dealing with violence at schools is going to make the news. 6 months ago this would not have been a story.

I'll have to agree here. The culture of the strong being right is gone - at least on a personal level. The thing is, the responsibility goes both ways - IF that girl was spouting her mouth off, she should have been stopped, but not by a beating.

Agreed. Ok, sometimes maybe a smack on the face is justified, but it's usually best if administered by an adult, someone whom the child would be ill advised to fight back against. If it's a peer though, then there's always the "I can take this person" factor. Phyiscal violence only escalates.
This beating appeared quite unjustified. I'd love to know what the hell did provoke it, and to the degree it continued. Come on, one punch ought to be enough to get the point across.
