The Bandit may be dead, but the black TransAm with the screaming chicken on the hood will live on forever!

He had quite the run of good movies back in the day before fading away to supporting roles.

Hooper (the stuntman movie) was another highlight of his career, and it inspired The Fall Guy series with Lee Majors and Heather Thomas.

A mans man perfect for the time period he lived in. I did love his role in Boogie Nights, very smooth.
10-4 good buddy! RIP

Anyone else here remember him from the TV show "Riverboat"? One of my favorite shows when we first got a TV.
Fond memories of watching an old, tiny black and white TV that had 3 stations (when the weather was good) and you had to go outside to rotate the antenna.
Damn I *am* old!!

I just knew that one of our Canucks would love me tossing Norm MacDonald into a Burt Reynolds tribute thread.
