i use primarily spybot to protect my family computer from spyware however i continually get these two programs listed as problems. I "fix" the prbs which spybot reports as done successfully and always have the prg up to date and fully immunized (browsers closed when doing so). Any ideas why i keep getting this two and how to get rid of them forever?

As a blanket security starting point, make sure no one's using an Admin-level user account for daily-driver stuff. The Admin account is (ideally, anyway) for Admin work only. Installing a new printer and software? OK, log on as Admin for that. But not browsing MySpace and FaceBook.

Secondly, set your web browsers to not accept third-party cookies. For Internet Explorer, I do this:

1) in IE, click Tools > Internet Options and go to the Privacy tab

2) for the Interwebs Zone, set the slider to Medium-High and click Apply.

3) now click the Advanced button, use the "override" checkbox and set it to reject third-party cookies.


For FireFox, there's a checkbox that does this too. Opera I'm not sure about... anyone?
