Burnproof usage

I usually use Nero and a couple of times I had buffer underruns. After failing, Nero spits out the disc with an error. Whenever I try to restart the same session Nero complains that the disc is not writable. How do I tell Nero to continue from the point where the buffer underrun occured? I have a TEAC W540E and a Pioneer 108 which both supports burnproof of course.

I don't think you can continue after getting a buffer underun error. In NERO make sure you enable burn-proof BEFORE you start burning.

Yes I have enabled burnproof before burning. And isn't the whole point of burnproof is to be able to continue your burn after a buffer underrun...?

with burn proof, a buffer underrun won't fail the burn session. Once the session fails, it's too late for anything and the disc is a coaster.

So, either burn proof isn't working properly or another error besides buffer underrun killed the burn...but there's no way to continue the burn now that it has failed.

I see. So I guess burnproof works without you knowing it. Is there burnproof support for DVD media?

Actually it looks like my DVR108 only supports burnproof for CDs, not DVDs. Can anyone confirm this?
bacillus: Yes I am using DMA.

Burnproof is a function of the drive itself, it will work with any media that allows for
multisession recording. (and no, you don't have to create multisession discs for it
to work).
