Yes. As opposed the the generic bandwagon patriot that doesn't take a few minutes to learn proper flag-handling protocol before displaying.
Leaving it out in the rain.
Leaving it out at night without illumination.
Allowing it to touch the ground.
Aging and tattered flags still flying for almost 3 years now.
Not disposing of it properly placing it in the trash.
Properly disposing of the flag as outlined by the thread starter.
No, it is NOT better to just be trying as is the argument sometimes. Learn why you're flying the flag, doing so improperly is more disrespectful than not at all.
