Burning software other than Nero? Is there anything else?

I just want to know what other software ppl use for burning besides nero? I kind of feel like being a rebel this week by trying other brands of software for burners.

Roxio's (formerly Adaptec's) EZ CD Creator (up to Ver. 5.0) is included with most burners. Popular bloatware but easy to use.

I used other stuff BEFORE nero, so nero was my act of rebellion. However, nowadays it just seems to be the perfect one.

If you want one by another company that is decent, look into CeQuadrant's WinOnCD. It came with another burner and I really liked it, but the old version I had had a bug with AMD's 750 chipset so I stopped using it. Before that however, it was perfect and the newer version rocked.

Don't use adaptec. You'd be better off manually trying to burn millions of holes in a CD than getting that POS software to work

Adaptec almost always works fine right out of the box for even the most moronic computer user (hey, it even works for me!) If you can't get Adaptec Easy CD Creator to work then you must have serious problems (or be using version 5 🙂)

CDRWINis an excellent CD mastering/burning program. Comparable to Nero in many respects (which by the way has never worked properly on my systems).

DiscJuggler is also a pretty nice program. I believe it's made by Padus. I used to use EZ CD Creator, but Nero was perfect for all my needs so I've stuck with it the past 2 years.
