burning software for macs

does anyone know what the best burning software for macs is?? at work we use macs and my boss needs me to pick out some software for burning cd-r's and dvd-r's.... so far i've only heard toast is the best... right now we're trying out iDVD and it sucks a$$.. unless someone can tell me how to use it.. i'd like a recommendation for something else.

What version of the os are you using. I am assuming osx 10.1.3. I am using Adaptec's Toast Titanium with my external firewire drive.
So, far, it has worked great. It is really easy to use as all you have to do is drag and drop. Get the patches for it since it had a problem
in the past with burning to different types of dvd-r media. It costs about $100 anywhere you go.
