Here is my goal.

I will be purchasing 2 Yamaha 16x/10x/40x 50pin SCSI CD-RW's, and 2 Plextor UltraPlex 40x 50pin SCSI CD-roms.

I would like to put all 4 drive into an external SCSI enclousure and burn 2 different cd's at once. This external enclosure will be connected to my Adaptec 29160. I know that Nero supports multiple burners, but from what I can tell that only allows you to write the same cd to two different burners. I have been able to open two copies of nero at once. I'm assuming that if I just tell it to use one burner in one program and tell the other copy to use the second burner it should be ok, right?

I've got about 220 cd's that I will only have for 2 days and need to get them all backed up.

Would this be the best solution?

Any help/comments/sugestions/etc are welcomed.

i don't know about burning 2 different cds (data wise)at the same time, but i know for sure nero can run more than 2 drives at once. my bud runs 4 at the same time w/ no probs at all.
