my dvd and cd burner seems to not be able to burn CD-R/RW. at first i thought it was just CD-RWs that were in question but just now i tried burning a CD-R and it won't work.

i have no problems burning DVD-Rs on my DVD burner though.

anybody knows what the problem may be?

everytime i do try to burn a CD-R/RW, nero shows something about SCSI drive aborted or something like that.

and i just noticed that during the boot up when it detects my drives it also says something like PRIMARY IDE CHANNEL 80 CONDUCTOR UNSTABLE...

any help would be appreciated.....i DID post this in technical support forum as well, but i know this place has more traffic and i need an answer asap

As Nik would say "WRONG FORUM!"

Try replacing the cable....sorry your thread go so jacked, but this is OT.

Try GH before TS if your need a quicker answer in the future.

that deduces to why OT people always act the way they do, with the irritable sensation they apparently also suffer from
