Burning MPEG to DVD

SkyBum

Senior member
I have some MPEG format files (and 1 AVI file) which I need to burn to DVD for viewing on a DVD player.

I'm not really up to speed on whether these files need to be converted to another format and also what program I should use for conversion/burning. Obviously, a freeware app would be preferable to a paid version.

Looking for a tutorial that would help me out and also any specific software suggestions would be appreciated...

What OS and version do you have? If it's Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you could try Windows DVD Maker (Start > All Programs). Otherwise, if you happen to have a Nero suite installed, NeroVision Express would be an option.

Thanks mB, after installing a trial version of Nero 8, I gave Nero Express a whirl and am burning now.

Could not have been easier. Great suggestion!
