I am burning large MP3 to to audio cd format to play in any cd compatible device. Some just over an hour long tracks. Is there a way to "split" the track into different parts maybe every five minutes) so I don't have to hold down the forward and reverse! LOL But I do not want breaks in the track just "bookmarks" for each five minutes. I am using the latest version of Nero 5.5. Thanks a lot in advance!

add mp3 to be burned to the project list. select the track, right click and select properties. move over to indexes, limits, splits. click where you want to split and press split.

If you don't want to right click, you can just doubleclick and the index split will open up as well.

I use CD-R Win for large audio files, just write in your own times into the cue sheet and it splits up your files automatically.

Thanks for the help guys. For some reason when I "index" the large files (I don't want splits) in Nero, it never finishes burning and a cd-r wasted. But when I burn the large file without any indexes it works like a champ! Going to try CD-R Win now.

Thanks again!
