i might be missing something really obvious here but does anyone know how to burn an ISO in nero 5.5?

ive made up an iso image of a slipstreamed win2k/sp2 boot cd using cdrwin etc as described im numerous other posts on this board. The only problem now seems to be that i can work out how to get nero to burn this image!!!

any ideas???

Go to File->Burn Image, then point to your ISO, and when it says 'This is a Foreign Image file' Click on the Correct button, the thing you need to know to avoid burning coasters is whether the .Iso was created in Mode 1 or Mode 2. If you burn a Mode 2 .Iso mistakenly as a Mode 1 .Iso Nero will burn it but the Cdr will be blank.

My advice is to find the Shareware program Cdmage, and then try to open the .Iso file. Since there are many different types of .Iso files, you will have to try them one by one, until you select the right one. However, once you do you will find out if the .Iso is Mode 1 or Mode 2. Once you know that, you can burn it in Nero with 100% assurance it will burn right.

While you can burn isos with Nero, I recommend Fireburner for isos.

It's a very small, free program that burns isos very easily.
