"burning in systems" with seti

I haven't posted here in quite a long time but i saw that bbr was closing the gap and I thought I'd install seti on a few systems at my girlfriend's mom's place while I stay here.

I'm currently running 2 processes on a P4 2.8, one on a P4 Celeron 2.4, K6-2 350!, and P1 150!!, and 2 processes each on a couple of P4 Xeon 3.0 with 1mb l3 cache.

I can't install any monitoring programs but it looks like the p4's are doing extremely well. The P4 2.8 must have faster memory as it seems to be flying, thought the Xeons are close behind. An hour ago, I had 28796 WU's and I believe my other machies are turning in about 6 WU per 24 hours.

i'm curious to see what i have tomorrow when i get up

whew, this room is already starting to warm up a fair bit 😉

hmmmm...I've noticed one of the xeon boxes has shut down a couple of times....i haven't been around to see it so i don't know what's happening. they're both dell poweredge 2600 machines...i suspect the cooling is fine...i don't really want to mess with them but i guess i'll see if i can find anything

the systems i previously mentioned will likely run seti until tuesday but i will be restarting it on my P4 Celeron 1.7 and on an Athlon 750. not much but it can't hurt.
