Okay, finally give in and going to get one but I have to wait for me Amex card to arrive. If it doesn't arrive in time the SX31 at Costco for $499 is not bad of a price.

AWWW DAMMIT I GOT REJECTED from AMEX PM... STUPID TV IS GOING BACK!
I can't believe they told me that it was rejected.
What a hassle, now I gotta package this crap back, and shove it up CC's hole

Don't be upset johnmiles79, there is no reason that AMEX reject you but the thing did happen to me. When I called, they said I can't PM because it's not available. But I insist on that they match out of stock items, then the representative transfer me to another representative(maybe manager I don't know). Well this time the representative confirm that and told me that the previous representative made a mistake. And one week ago I got a letter which said that the PM was rejected, and actually my $250 check comes three days ago. No hassle, AMEX is the best credit card that I've ever used. I got this card last september and I have got more than $1300 back. Never had been rejected. Great card, I like.
Very happy with my TV.

my trip to CC was unsuccessful... they didn't have the sx11 model anymore but they did have the sx12... it's exactly the same model and price except for the 11...12.... panasonic stopped making the sx11 model... the CSR offered me teh sx12 instead of the sx11... i didn't get it because AMEX probably won't pricematch if the model is different... guess i tried this deal too late :(

for those of you with the open box question, amex will NOT pm an open box item as they consider it to be used. they exclude open box and demos. i called twice to make sure they understood i wanted to pm an item i bought that was open box to an item that was new and not vice versa. so dont buy an open box if youre planning on pming it.

CC in Bay Shore, NY has them NIB. Picked one up today for $449 :)

Just need to call AMEX and try the PM :frown:

So much for my suggestion. Well if anyone is kind enough to let me in on this deal, Buena Park CC has three new (not open box) in stock. Orange also has some in stock. PM me if you're in OC and would like to be paid $275 for one. ;)

I went to Sears and showed them the printout of BB page, they matched it and sold the TV to me for $239.50. I will try to scan the receipt this week and post a link to it.

My PM at AMEX was approved for $250 (bought at CC for $499) and the check's on my way! Thanks to Janeson for providing info on this deal.

Bought the last 2 TV's at my local CC. Got them for $499.99. The manager would not PM your receipt, chrisjor. He said it was b/c it was a different market. Oh well. Gonna open a PM claim with AMEX in the morning. Here's hoping the PM goes thru. Don't really want to lug the 2 TV's back to CC!
