Burning CDs readable on DVD players

Is there any way for me to burn videos onto a CD using my CD-RW driver in such a format or way that will enable me to play them on a dvd player?

it depends on what your dvd player will play.

I'll probably be playing it on a PS2... I'm not sure exactly what formats the DVD player on PS2 supports...
