Burning cds and games causes my cpu to go to 100%

How do I prevent this? I usually could listen to music while I burn cds but now I cant even go online without it slowing down.

Hi,
It is always good to give as many details as you can about your setup - hardware and software, and OS.
Also, definitely include what antivir precautions, and the firewall you use.

check for spyware, viruses. check task manager if theres too many background apps running.
