Ive got a video on my computer thats about 750mb, i was wondering if i could somehow make a vcd and play it on my dvd player, ive played other VCDs on my player so they work, but the other videos were in cue format ( i used VLC media player to watch them ).

Yes, you CAN do that... but you need the proper software program to convert an AVI file into a VCD-format disc that will play in your DVD player. Programs like Power Producer and others can do that... it's a software function, so you need the right software.

Free software called avi.NET can convert it to a standalone DVD player-compliant file.
