Burning a CD with no gaps

There are several songs I want to burn onto a CD to play in my stereo. The songs lead right into the next...so I would like the CD to not have any gaps so I can get a smooth transition - how do I do this with Nero?

Isn't something like burning it disc-at-once? If so, just wanted to make sure so I won't waste a CD-R. Also, will burning a CD with no gaps have any adverse effects, like not play correctly in older CD players?

Also, I have an MP3 CD player; if I want to burn those same songs but keep them as MP3s, how do I make a no-gap MP3 CD?

I don't think it matters which way you make audio CD but I make them disc-at-once and haven't had any problems.

To make sure that there are no gaps between track in Nero, after you're done arranging your tracks, highlight all the tracks except the first one and set the gap to 0 seconds. If you highlight the first track as well, it won't work. 😉
