burner questions and recommendations

I've got an ol' 8x that's beggin to be upgraded so I'm thinking about doing that this weekend. what I'd like to know before I do, though, is what's important to look for. speed is always important, but what about cache size? does it make a huge difference between 2mb and 8mb of cache?
also, anyone know of a great burner for a great price and where I can get it? any other tips, tricks, suggesti9ons, anything I should know, is all welcome. thnx.

Bah, this thread is only 30 minutes old and your other thread received two responses that you haven't even replied to, so no need to complain. It sometimes takes several hours for someone to come along who can/will answer your question. Lite-On burners seem to be the favorite around here.
