Out of no where my burner has started to act up. When I burn music cd's they burn fine but when I try buring dvd-r's I get nothing but problems. I've never had a problem like this. What happens is either the disc gets stuck & the burner like locks or it takes the burner like 5 minutes just to start burning the disc. I tried different brands of disc thinking it was the media & still the samething. However im trying to think if its just with my secondary drive only. I got my burner & secondary drive on the same channels. I dont know to much about computers but like I said I never had a problem burning before.

Please help I got a bunch of disc I need to burn.
 
Have you tried to upgrade the firmware for the drive?
With the different brands, are you maybe using a speed that is not comprable with the stats of the burner?
