Burned first dvd, not like a regular dvd

I just got through buring my first dvd using dvd shrink and dvddcrypter. I removed some of the sound packages and about 5 minutes of the end of the movie. Now when I played it in my dvd player, it just striaght played. None of the previews or options at the beggining of dvds.

Is this just how it is or did I do something wrong?

I first load it into dvd shrink => re-author => compression settings => Remove some audio files => Remove credits at the end => click on backup = Starts encoding

Above = none of that beginning stuff.

most of the time if the disc is too bit I think DVD shrink removes the the previews and options at the begining. I've only used it a few times and both time the disc wasn't over 4.7gb so it didn't removed anything. But taking out all the stuff frees up alot of space on the disc.

So dvd shrink automatically takes that already out?

I don't even see any options to maybe add it. But others have told me theres are like regular dvds. So maybe they are using a different program?

If you reauthor a DVD in DVD Shrink then you automatically lose the original menu functionality. If you want to keep the menus an previews in any state other than just a still image then you have to backup the entire DVD.
