Greetings!
I've installed Vista Home in two systems; both, when a folder is opened, show:
ORGANIZE< VIEW< SLIDESHOW and BURN.
Both allowed me to burn data to a DVD, and in one, I used ROXIO 9, which also worked [much quicker.]
I just installed Vista PREMIUM 32-bit. I didn't notice that BURN wasn't there at first, as I also installed ROXIO 9.
Soon found that although Roxio allowed me to copy a DVD, I could not burn data to one. It would start, but I'd eventually get an error message.
I then noticed that the BURN button was not there.
I use LITE-ON ALL-WRITE DVDRW Drives.
Is this something within VISTA PREMIUM? I don't see it in WINDOWS FEATURES.
REMOVABLE STORAGE MANAGEMENT is un-checked in both.
I tried checking it in PREMIUM, but it did not produce the BURN button.
I'm assuming that the missing button and ROXIO's failure are connected.
Thanks in advance for your time and input.
Ray
