Burn an installed program so that it's installable again, not just system files?

Hi,
My sisters laptop has some programs installed on it but she no longer has the installation discs.

Is there a way to burn these to discs in a way that they can be installed/usable again after a format, and not just putting the system files onto her computer, which wouldn't help her much?

Or maybe to transfer things over... I dunno.

Thanks

There is no way to do this for most programs. If you listed some of the programs we could give you a better answer. If you legally own a license for the software there are programs that will show you what the registration and/or serial numbers are for those programs. You can then use your serial number and download a copy of the software. If I am not mistaken this is 100% legal.
