Burmese New Years Water Festival!

I stopped by the Burmese New Years Water Festival to test out my D2H. There were a couple of kids there, running around with their water guns shooting each other.

I smiled and stopped to take a picture of the little boy (first picture). What a great pose I thought. Next thing I knew, he shot my camera--bullseye on the lens. Though I wanted to get angry, I couldn't, he was too cute. I wiped off my Hoya filter with my t-shirt and continued shooting.

nice shots,
though they seem little underexposed. (could be my monitor, i have crappy lcds at work)

Oh yeah is 17-55 what nikon ships their cameras with?

They're fine on my monitor. It's probably your lcd.
No, the D70 (aimed toward the prosumer) kit lens is the 18-70 which retails for around $280. The D50 (aimed more toward the consumer) has the 18-55 kit lens.

there were two teenagers, a guy and a girl. i wonder what the guy was thinking as he sprayed the girl. hehehe

it was in the metro i think - i grabbed a copy in the subway. What was up with that crazy guy shooting cops and church statues???

Was it a Chinese Paper? The Tsing Tao? (did I spell that correctly?) Two reporters asked me to send them pictures, but I told them I wouldn't do it for free. Guess they used someone else's pics.
