Burl Ives Question about a song... any one know the name of this song?

My Dad just called me and is trying to find a burl ives album with a perticular song on it where he names the states.

Any one have any ideas?

Old people might know this better

I spent about an hour last night searching for this ONE SONG TITLE.

No luck this guy recorded HUNDREDS OF SONGS :|

I was hopeing that we had someone here old enought to know the name of the song:music:

While the web has a good amount of knowledge in it, it isn't always the best place to start. I suggest you call the largest music store you can find, and ask them if they know of this song.

I will try to google it some more, but I haven't had much luck.

Do you know the style of this song? Folk or blues or what? I know Ives did mostly folk music but I think he did some blues and country too.

Got the PM from yamahaXS and Wanted everyone to know it would appear he put some thought into that THANK YOU

I ended up spending the evening having a friend start on building a database for work so that is the two and a half hour I was gonna spend searching tonight. Hopefully my Dad got all this and might find something to help with.
