So I was spent the night at my new lady friends house. When I went back to my car in the morning I noticed the doors were all unlocked. Then I saw one of the windows smashed in. The bastard managed to take this Pioneer AVIC-Z2

Whats really weird is that he didn't take anything else. I had my golf clubs, 2 amps, full speaker system with a sub, and some brand new cds that I just bought. He even left me a clear roll of tape to tape up my window, but the cops took that for evidence. I have full coverage on the car, so hopefully the insurance will help me out. In the mean time I'll just keep my eyes on craigslist and ebay.

Headunits are probably the easiest for him to get rid off so that's why he only took that.

Yeah I'm really lucky he didn't take anything else. Sadly I don't have an alarm. I was actually planning on having one installed this week too.

Sounds like you were just asking to be ripped off. How could you not have an alarm with all that other stuff?

Reason he didn't take the rest is he wanted in and out. He figured he couldn't get crap out of the CD's or he picked through them and thought they sucked. If hes on foot then I don't think he was gonna try and walk down the road with the speakers, amp, golf club, ect. He went for the most expensive thing and got out. I be if he was driving you wouldn't have a thing left.

don't worry, someone stole my OEM rims off of my car a year ago. they left it on cinder blocks and a jack. the frame got messed up and the door was bend. i think the total was around $2800. $1000 deductible -- ouch.

sorry to hear about that though, hopefully its covered.
