mcDonalds = grease. Everything is greasy. Every time I eat there I feel like i've just consumed chewable grease. I do love a Big Mac though.

Big Macs have gotten smaller though over time. It would have been a hands down favourite for me 15 years ago, but now they're not "Big" anymore. They're really just "Mac". Not cool.

Wendy's in Canada = cardboard. All of it is garbage. It's worse than Taco Bell, Arbys, or even KFC. I can't say enough terrible stuff about Wendy's food. It's just so awful.

For me, the whopper is the all around best burger of those three. It has its weak points, but it is more of a traditional "hamburger" than a Big Mac, plus it is actually large and the patty is more then 2 mm thick. The bun doesn't feel like it has been dipped in grease either like you get with McDonalds. BK also has the best fries of these three hands down.

But if I wanted a truly good burger I wouldn't go to fast food in the first place. Instead I'd probably just make it myself or go to a local shop.

dammit. 8:10 am and now I want a whopper. thanks internet. imma get fat.

I can assure you Lebron does not include that burger as apart of his diet.

Pro athletes eat crap. I remember when the Orlando Magic recruited Tim Duncan and Grant Hill they ordered this enormous many-courses meal for them and Duncan sent one of the Orlando execs to pick up some bacon cheeseburgers from the Wendy's drive-thru instead.

Are you sure it's not just a case of everything else getting bigger? I can remember in the 80s when people used to get the regular cheeseburger and the small fries like you see in Happy Meals now. But now that we're a nation of fatasses almost all the servings have gotten way bigger (especially fries and sodas). I haven't had a Big Mac in probably two or three years, but last time I got one I remember it being the same size as it was in the 80s and 90s.

At least in my area, Wendy"s is the absolute worst.
Followed by Mcdonalds, then BK.
For me, Burger King looks the most appealing out of the 3.
Really, though, if I want a fast food burger, Nothing beats Carls/Hardees.

This just in....Wendy's. But it used to be amazing. If you ate at a Wendy's with plastic bead curtains and tabletops printed with the news of the early 1900s, you had it good.

As a Columbus kid in the 70s, you'd go to the Wendy's for dinner after visiting the COSI, the science center.

You're not comparing apples to apples. Quarter pounder is the equivalent to the whopper and the patty seems just as big to me. You don't get all the toppings on the quarter pounder though. BK has a big mac equivalent called the Big King, and it's just as small as the big mac.

The Big King is terrible though.

Very interesting chart. Very, very few of the places listed exist in my state (CT). Also seems to blend in higher priced places with true fast food.

Truly astonished at how high White Castle placed. Back in the sixties there was one in Hartford, CT but it was so bad that even the vagrants wouldn't eat there.

I don't like that BK microwaves the patties

I worked at BK when I was a kid. They didn't actually cook the patties in the microwave. The microwave is there to melt the cheese. They cook the patties on an actual grill, then place the patty on a bun, place cheese, then Microwave it for 20 seconds to melt the cheese, then build the rest of the burger.

But that was in the early 90's.

I've ate a White Castle once. Never again. Even my kids wouldn't touch the...the...the patty like thing that is a pale, meatlike, boiled looking abortion of a burger. That is seriously the most disgusting "burger" I've had.

Yeah I didn't mean cook them from raw to done, but being reheated in the microwave. All this talk of bad burgers kinda makes me want one. I haven't had a Double Whopper with cheese and extra mayo in probably 15 years.

we all agree none of them are good for you however

I personally enjoy McDs more than those asked about in this thread
BK puts mayo on their burgers and I hate mayo, and TBH I never found Wendy's all that good. I do like that they have a baked potato

the whopper has always been worse then the QPC or Big Mac IMO
MCDs wins on frys if you leave Arbys curly frys out of the argument as well

also someone mentioned the hashbrowns, ummm hashbrowns. McDs kills the others on breakfast as well - I miss the McSkillet buritto

This is no different than talking about music tastes.....or color preferences....everyone will like something else.

I prefer not to eat at any of those places.

But if I have to, I like a big mac as much as I like a whopper......and JR.Cheese deluxe from Wendys.

They will all make me hungry within an hour........and sick.......and harm my body as well.

Agreed, white castle is fucking awful

I'm near enough to Chicago that everybody loves it and I just don't get it. I've tried it several times to make sure it wasn't a bad one, or a bad batch or something... nope. Burgers are gross, fries are gross, I just don't get it

Heh, used to make road trips to White Castle in the 70's before they were all over, was 30 miles both ways.

Was a weekend now and then party on the road, why they made the movie I guess kinda.

Times have changed.
