its a shame that what you guys are calling burgers, these POS in suites are calling it "Product". WTF is a product? How can you call food a product? I call it FOOD if you actually give a dam about it at all.

A real hamburger is ground beef and that is that. Put some salt and pepper on each side with a bit of oil and cook.

These are all diarrhea burgers of various degrees of mystery ingredients.

Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese and Double Whopper with Cheese are both pretty good. I don't like that BK microwaves the patties, so I would probably go with McDonalds. Wendy's is OK, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. Actually I wouldn't go out of my way for any of these three. When I want a burger its In N Out, or if the line is too long, Jack in the Box.

Of those three, easily Wendy's. However, for whatever reason, sometimes I'll get a craving for McDonald's and nothing else will do.

I think Wendy's is better.

McDonalds though seems to be the best-run fast food place out there. Like, everytime I go to one it is the fastest service, cleanest facilities, nicest interiors.

Burger King's food is actually pretty gnarly. Like, if you actually stop and examine the fish sandwich, you'll find that it is chock-full of salt. Their chicken sandwiches are pretty bad also. McDonalds Club sandwiches are more quality.

Do they really? They didn't when I worked there for 2 weeks in the 80s.

Yes, they flame broil the patties and let them sit, and when someone orders something they throw it in the microwave. McDonalds uses a warmer, so its not that much better. Jack in the Box and In N Out are made to order.

Wendy's is the best if you want a chicken sandwich. Their burgers just aren't that good. McDonald's is better for breakfast.

Burger King is... well, it exists.

This is exactly how I feel. Burger King I just don't like, I really like the spicy chicken @ Wendy's and none of them can touch McDonald's breakfast.

I could eat McDonald's hash browns every day (though it wouldn't be very smart). Come to think of it, I regularly hit McD's for breakfast, maybe once a month. But I can't even remember the last time I at something from their lunch menu; it's been years.

And you're also right about Wendy's chicken. Given a choice, I'll take it over their burgers any day. It's not even a contest.

Wendy's and Burger King have gone down hill big time. Wendy's Singles and Burger King Whopper are no longer edible due to the switch to low quality ingredients. I still love McDonald's quarter pounder. That hasn't changed.

Wendy's is the only one of the bunch that remotely resembles something that you'd make from real ground beef.

...which used to contain something like 1% worm meat.

:D

anyway, yeah. better than those others.

this is a terrible list, though

I really liked the Big and Tasty when I worked there. I'm not sure why they got rid of it (aside from everyone calling it the Big and Nasty hurr hurr). Their ingredients went downhill though. We used to cut tomatoes fresh and cook the breakfast burrito mix by hand. By the time I left, the tomatoes and mix were prepackaged.

..probably the worst fast food breakfast, ever--granted, I wasn't aware if Wendy's or BK even had those...but McD's is just terrible.

Everything they've tried, they stole from Hardee's, and sucked at it.

I still had my wife buy me Big Macs for my birthday yesterday, she called me on the phone and said how about a Big Mac.

Is my sick obsession with growing up eating them a bit.

She can be semi-evil some days and knows me too well :p

I told her screw it get me two.

I almost never do these days, used to eat one for lunch almost every day in the late 70's in high school.

I suspect she's trying to kill me off for the insurance money.

Yep. I remember when the first McDs came to our town, about 1975. It immediately became the place to hang out. And eat Big Macs. In their wonderful, non-biodegradable styrofoam clamshell containers.

Wendy's>Hardy's>McDonalds>Sonic

I rarely get fast food, but when I do, I usually pick up the Jr. Bacon cheese burger from Wendy's. I also like to once in a while get the 2 cheese burger deal at McDonalds.

I don't go to Burger King, the last time I got something there it smelled like bleach. That has kept me from going back.

Sonic burgers seem greasy, every time I've ever had one.

You know what makes me laugh is when these big chains come out with these promotions, like the Bacon Clubhouse burger that featured Lebron James in the commercials. I laugh because people fall for this but it's the same shitty burger pattie slathered in new shitty toppings to make it look premium. It's like trying to polish up a turd. LMAO.

I can assure you Lebron does not include that burger as apart of his diet.

If I eat there I go direct to the value menu, order up a McDouble or McDouble with bacon and add Mac sauce to it. It's like eating a Big Mac for a fraction of the price.
