The mayonaise lovers took the early lead.

Tomato/ketchup guys are taking over. Nothing wrong with the perfect fruit tomato.

Ketchup is only good on a burger WITH mayo, though. It overpowers the flavor of the meat otherwise.

The choice of toppings also depend on what cheese you're using as well. I wouldn't use Mayo if I had Blue Cheese on the burger, for example.

Did I mention that I watched the Food Channel a LOT last night? 🙂

Yeah, but bluecheese is a very STRONG flavor. I love it. But would rather taste the meat.

I like watching the "ultimate burger" contests on foodTV. I wouldn't mind entering actually.

"I present to you the perfect burger. It's got a perfectly cooked between medium-rare/medium patty, topped with cheese. Beneath this perfection is a light dazzling of homemade aiole with a sweet/peppery blend. Please enjoy this on a lightly toasted artisan bread as the base or your palette sumptuates the mixture of aiole, finely diced roma tomatoes and a hint of spice. I present to you the perfect burger. Please enjoy. The slightly cruchy bread enjoys a generous release of juices to present....The Perfect Burger."

I chose Ketchup as my necessary condiment and Other as my necessary topping... because you didn't have mayo as a topping.

bbq bacon cheeseburger (medium done)

or

cheeseburger (medium) with mayo and lettuce, it reminds me a lot of jr bacon cheeseburger at wendy's.

burger "burnt", cheese, ketchup, and pickle.

If I can have everything I want, it is well done with ketchup, mayo, mustard, onion, tomato, pickle, and if I am eating out add bacon, if it is at home no bacon
