This is my first post in a very long time so be gentle.

Scan

Burger King has their new $0.99 chicken sandwiches and when i purchased one today there was a coupon on it for a $5 check if i called in for short phone survey. I completed the survey and my check is on it's way. Not only did i eat for free but i made some cash to boot! I'll scan the coupon once i get to a scanner.

I asked the clerk up front and he said it was a promotion they're running but had no idea how long it was going to last. I live in the Las Vegas area so YMMV depending on other regions of the states.

EDIT
The coupon is stuck to the outside the wrapper and is really visible from afar.

What was the survey about? Maybe its location specific.

It was the Spicy chicken sandwich and it was "ok". It's nothing to write home about =)

How does it compare with the tendercrisp?

I didn't even realize it was spicy and it tastes exactly like the one from Jack n the box.

No says you actually have to eat it. Just give it to some homeless person, you'd still make $4 off it.

OK so I'm not threadcrapping as I like to eat at BK at breakfast, but this stupid manager person has repeatedly make me feel like I somehow had made a mistake every time I've received the wrong item after ordering. It's like they are trying to give someone a ham and egg and cheese croissandwich or sausage and egg and cheese croissandwich after I've ordered just an egg and cheese croissandwich. I don't eat either ham or sausage so naturally I don't want either. And then they have these coupons that you can use but even after telling them in the drive thru that I had a coupon they screw up the order and have to wait for the manager to fix the price. Bottom line for me was they didn't want customers using coupons so maybe they shouldn't give them out. And when you resort to blaming the customer for errors that you make you only lose customers. I no longer go there.

QFT

But I think that's true for all fast food franchises (maybe besides the 'higher class' chains like Long John's)

Working at a fast food place, I cant tell you how many times I just had to take a 15 minute break and laugh my ass off at the stupidity of some people. In most cases I can understand the mix up, but sometimes it just baffles me what must be going through some peoples heads.

BK though can suck mine. One close to me has terrible food and somehow worse service.

I'm going in tomorrow, and if I see that Burger King freak dude in the store, I'm gonna whoop his ass. That guy's been taunting me for months! Look out, I'm on the rampage.

Oh, thanks op.

Maybe it's just the BK I frequent, but for some reason BK seems to be more expensive than some of the other chains.
