Today is Bungie Day. Why? Because Bungie likes the number 7. If you've still got a fondness for Halo 3, fire it up and jump on the just added Bungie Vs The World playlist for a chance to play against the Bungie Devs and a chance at winning the always coveted Recon Armor.

Once you?ve gotten past the message and menus and find yourself in the twenty-four hour Bungie Vs. The World Playlist, be on the lookout for four flaming heads. In the event you get eyes on one of our four-player crews and give them a good old fashioned ass kicking, your efforts will earn you and your team all fancy new sets of Recon armor.

I may have to fire this up tonight. I doubt I'll run into them with so many people playing, but think I stand a fairly decent chance in winning if somehow I do get matched up against them. And I haven't played in a month or two, so this would be a good reason to play again for awhile.

I played for a solid 3 hours on this playlist and did see them once. I did get the 7 on the 7th achievement so i'm hoping that earns me recon. If not I had a slew of medals during that 3 hour block hopefully something I did earns me the requisite props to get the recon.

I too played for ~3 hours yesterday and also got the 7 On The 7th achievement, but I never saw them! 🙁 At least now I don't have to hear at the beginning of every online match, "Anyone here from Bungie?" :roll:
