Shall I call up your boss and tell him that you're shopping around for a competitor's product ?

Clearing out an overstock of accessories they brought to bundle with another model, I guess? Maybe the NewEgg photographer goofed and took something out of another box? That is kind of an odd thing to be bundling in there.

LOL! Oh man that's awful.

In their defense, they don't list component as being one of the interfaces, so hopefully nobody will buy the card expecting component output.

Interface
PCI-E 2.0 16x
DVI-I, DVI-I, HDMI
SLI Capable

Then again, if someone looks at the accessory bundle (both on newegg and on the evga site) they'll probably expect it.

edit: didn't realize this was an XFX card. EVGA does the same thing though.

component is great, it bypasses HDCP which is a right bitch to deal with. Also it can resolve some overscan issues with some displays...
The problem here is that they give you a "HDOut to Component" dongle that has nowhere to plug in on the card, since it has no HDOut plug. (HDOut LOOKS like an Svideo plug but has about 3 times as many pins, and it is not compatibly with svideo. It does however have a dongle that splits it into svideo and component video. ATI and nVidia have been using those for a while now, If I am not mistaken they each use a slightly different proprietary implementation)

The XFX 280 cards include that cable, and the card itself has a connector for it. Mine came with one, although I never needed to use to it. The 295 appears to have the plug replaced by an HDMI one in the Newegg pictures.
