Is it possible to boundle 2-3 hi-speed internet connections to achieve better speeds?
Definitely have outgrown the fastest DSL offered in the area ... would it be possible to simultaneously get Cable internet and run both at the same time to get better speeds/pings?

6Mbps DSL + 10 Mbps Cable = 16 Mbps internet?

Could this work?
How could this be set up?

It could work. If you connect each into a separate nework adapter you can bridge them inside windows giving you the speeds of both togeather.

You can load balance but you aren't going to double your speed, you are just going to split the load up. A Cisco 1811 works great and comes in under 1k.

Depending on what your time/money tradeoff structure looks like, you might want to give http://pfsense.com/ a look. It is a FreeBSD based router distribution(originally based on m0n0wall) that, among numerous other things, can do outbound load balancing on multiple WAN links. You can play with it in VMWare, and it'll run on virtually any x86 box of remotely recent vintage. Also supports failover and all sorts of other fun stuff.

Mooseracing's suggestion is probably what you want if you have the cash and need plug-and-go; but pfsense is all kinds of powerful and versatile if you don't mind doing a bit of poking. If pfsense is of interest, you can either use existing hardware, or go with one of a number of vendors that sell little, low power, 1U x86 boxes. http://www.ironsystems.com/Cus...%2DAR230&eq=&Cc=ACLASS is a representative example of the type.
