Bunch of Questions

Ok i built a new system

3500amd64
6800GT
1GB corsair XMS XL
wd 160 SATA
480 True Antec PS
MSI NEO2 PLAT 939 Socket

ok I have a lot of questions about the motherboard.

First off....In the bios it shows a list of IDE drives...and my harddrive is listed there. WHy isnt it listed somewhere under SATA drives? I dont even see a single option anywhere for sata drives at all. Am i missing something or is this norma?

Second....My Temps seem high. It is telling me that my CPU is running at a avg temp of 55C. I am new to this but this seems like a really high number. My case that i have(x-Dearmer2) has a temp gage on it and it says that the computer is at 90F and the cool and quite utility of the board says that it is 19C!? what is going on..

Third and lastly....my onboard audio sounds really crapy. Its very high end and tinny.. Now i know this wont be as good as a Audigy 2 but still i know its supppose to be better then this. I looked online but i think i hav eht emost recent drivers from MSI and i cant find any drivers anywhere else.

any help would be appretiated..thx!

i would back off on that ram. get a gig of basic RAM and save a ton of cash at no performance hit.

eh ya think so? I think its too late..since i already bought it..i dont think you can return to newegg to gt something else.

it came with a 20 buck rebate so it seemed good to me. Same price as the regular XMS

well fast timings dont do anything on the athlon 64, so you could have just spent $140 on a gig of mushkin 3200 basic...i dont even want to know how much you shelled out for that XMS stuff.
