I am not going to name names, but this morning as I went to peruse the FS/FT forum, I couldn't help but notice that 12 threads on page one had all been bumped by the same person within a few minutes.

These are the actual posts:

bump for a nice post, good morning

bump for a nice post, good morning

bump for a nice post, good morning

bump for a nice post, good morning

bump for a nice post, and a long one

bump for a nice post

bump for a nice post

bump for a nice post

bump for a nice post

bump for a nice post

bump for a nice post

bump for a nice post

This member is about to become golden, as he only needs 11 more posts. Maybe that is his "objective". If people make a big deal over it, I will be sure to post a link to this thread.;)

This kind of activity only reinforces the unimportance of post counts when evaluating someone. It is more about quality than quantity.

It's also a real waste of bandwidth.

Thank you.

I agree. Something needs to be done about pointless Nefs.

Getting rid of postcount should not be part of the solution, for various reasons that have been discussed over and over in the past, and need not be reposted (see? I'm trying not to waste any bandwidth  ).

True. And it also increases the load of the servers unnecessarily.

Every time you nef, god kills a server;
So please, children, think of the servers. ;)

The rule should be simple, when you do this and get caught your post count gets cut by 50%.
