Posting from Ben Gurion airport. I volunteered to get bumped off a Tel Aviv to Newark flight.

Jackpot!

Got a free round trip ticket voucher from ElAl good for one year.

Now I just have to fly back to the states a few hours later with an hour stopover in Rome. Big deal.

When I was sitting in Kansas City waiting for a flight a couple weeks ago they were doing that for people to take a later flight. If I had been alone, I would have done it for the free roundtrip ticket.
