Hey all. This afternoon I was screwing a 40x40x20 fan to my P3 866@1202's northbridge heatsink. In addition to bending caps and hitting the mobo HARD with a screwdriver after slipping, neither of which appeard to cause damage, I bumped and twisted the CPU heatsink (a thermaltake 6cu+) a bit. Under load, the CPU appears to be running 4 or so degrees (C) hotter. I'm guessing I smeared the AS3 between the CPU and heatsink a bit.
What I'm wondering is, will the AS3 resettle after a few days of full load, or do I need to reapply it to restore its prior effectiveness?
Thanks in advance!
