This ruling is very surprising. For years I've been reading that this Supreme Court was put in place to do Trumps bidding. This ban was put in place by the Trump admin with his approval. If the above is true why would they go against him?

I'll wait for you TDS suffering phucktards to move the goalposts before you answer. Should be as funny/ sad as usual.

I know that if my brains ever get splattered on the pavement by a weapon pumping out dozens or hundreds of rounds per minute I'll at least die knowing that it's OK because the trigger was individually activated each time so nobody's rights were violated.

I encourage all democrats, people of color, non-binary folks and women to purchase an ar-15 (which can be bought for as low as $380) and then get a bump-stop or a binary trigger, a handful of mags and ammo. If democracy and freedom are to continue in the US we might have to fight for it like the brave and courageous Ukrainians.

Or you know you can just throw rocks at the people with the guns.

Seriously though, if the "wrong" people own these weapons and accessories they might end up banned once again.

If it was up to me I would ban bump-stocks, binary triggers and body armor. You know you live in a shit hole country when these accessories are freely available.

She is NRA endorsed. Think she supports banning high capacity mags, bump stocks etc?

It was about the only thing Trump ever did that was right, even gun nuts hate him for that infraction of their inalienable rights.

It is a technological adaptation to increase due rate, but bumpstocks do not meet the legal definition of machineguns since it's still 1 trigger action/ 1 round fired.

I would think binary triggers also fall into this category.

I do think it's important for the govt to follow the laws as written, so the legal outcome of this may be to revise the statues appropriately.

The laws definitely need to be refined. Currently they lead to not only the bump stock situation, but effectively make gatling guns legal:


Sure, it's 22lr (and really interestingly made), but it's a machine gun in all but name.

Actually I'm sure that I did in 2022. I did not vote for her this year due to her silly stance on dumping the Speaker of the House McCarthy.
